Surf forecasting is about as accurate as a drunken donkey toeing the line between horse and mule. OK I’ll admit I don’t know what that means either and no, I’m not drinking on my lunch break. The bottom line is that here at your trusty hub for all things surfy we don’t bother with telling you what we think the waves will be doing because we don’t feel that we can do so with any accuracy. Instead, we will start posting the surf postcast so that you can know what you missed if you didn’t make it out.
Monday saw a storm come through early in the day bringing with it some 12′ swell with the period and around 9 seconds. A few of the spots close to town were working well -although conditions were still messy. Monday night was quite good though for those who scored. Tuesday at dawn offered similar conditions except smaller. All in all a solid two days of swell and it was big enough to ride the shorty.
